Anyway, a few days before Easter we made some Easter sugar cookies which were delicious. I love sugar cookies! They were shaped like bunnies, eggs, butterflies, and flowers. The kids helped me and they turned out really cute. Then the Saturday before Easter we colored eggs. I think the kids had more fun putting stickers on, than actually dying the eggs, but oh well. As long as they had fun!
Sunday morning the kids woke up to find the Easter Bunny had filled their baskets with way too much candy and had left them some Easter clothes. He had also hidden candy filled eggs all over the house. Dayna and Ethan went around the house finding all of their eggs. They loved it. Next came the part Evan and I loved. I thought it would be fun to have crepes for breakfast. I even thought it could be a little tradition... Easter morning we eat crepes. So I made these yummy crepes and we filled them with nutella, bananas, strawberries, peaches, and whipped cream. mmm, mmm, mmm. They were so good. The only problem was that the kids refused to eat them. They are so stubborn! They wouldn't even try them. So much for making it a tradition! Actually, I have every intention of doing crepes again next Easter. After breakfast we just relaxed and got ready for church. Of course, the kids wore their new Easter outfits. Through the week and especially on Easter we tried to talk about why we celebrate Easter and that we are really celebrating the life and resurrection of the Savior. I don't know how much they understood about it, but I think sometimes they understand more than we think they do.

You guys make me look bad. We didn't do much of anything for Easter. No Easter bunny at the mall, no coloring eggs, no Easter clothes (except for Mina) and we relied on Dave's mom for our Easter egg hunt. I guess I gotta step it up. Maybe you should stop being so fun! Think about it.
I'm glad your on the blogging bandwagon again! It is so great to see photos of you guys and your cute kids. I really want to see a picture of your coyote/dog.
